John Pak is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JP Investment Real Estate Group, where he provides strategic leadership and policy guidance across all aspects of the firm’s investment sales, capital markets, and asset management platforms. Since establishing the firm in 1988, Mr. Pak has built JP Investment into one of the most respected boutique commercial real estate advisory firms in the country, completing in excess of $3 billion in transaction volume and growing a managed portfolio spanning 300+ properties across 35 states.

Mr. Pak sits on the Executive Committee of JP Investment and is involved in all aspects of strategic planning and corporate governance. His decades of experience navigating commercial real estate cycles — from boom to recession and recovery — have shaped the firm’s disciplined, client-first investment philosophy. Mr. Pak began his career in commercial real estate in the late 1970s, specializing in the development, acquisition, and repositioning of shopping centers and retail properties throughout California and the Southwest.

David Chasin is the Chief Executive Officer of JP Investment, where he oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment advisory, capital markets, and asset management businesses as well as the executive leadership and strategic vision of the company. Mr. Chasin specializes in executing complex real estate strategies across multiple asset classes, providing advisory services to clients ranging from 1031 exchange buyers and ultra-high net worth investors to public REITs, life insurance companies, pension fund advisors, and family offices.

Since joining JP Investment in 2005, Mr. Chasin has played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth toward becoming one of the most highly respected real estate advisory firms in the country, having completed in excess of $4 billion in transaction volume while counting nearly 300 properties across 35 states within its currently managed portfolio. Prior to joining JP Investment, Mr. Chasin was a Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance Group at Universal Music Group. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Daylin Ackerman is a Managing Director at JP Investment Real Estate Group, where he is responsible for business development and supporting the investment sales and advisory business. Mr. Ackerman brings deep market knowledge and a disciplined approach to client engagement, advising a diverse range of investors across the firm’s national platform.

Prior to joining JP Investment in 2015, Mr. Ackerman was an Analyst for JRK Property Holdings. Before JRK, he was Manager of Business Development for PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. (NYSE: PFSI), where he was responsible for the acquisition of mortgage servicing assets and assisted with the company’s $250 million IPO in 2013. Mr. Ackerman received his B.S. in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies, from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

George Azzi is an Executive Vice President at JP Investment Real Estate Group, where he focuses on investment sales advisory and client relationships across the firm’s national platform. Mr. Azzi brings extensive market knowledge and a client-first approach to every engagement, advising a broad range of investors on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate throughout the United States.

Drawing on years of experience in net-leased retail investment sales and 1031 exchange advisory, Mr. Azzi works closely with private investors, family offices, and institutional clients to identify and execute strategies that align with their long-term investment objectives. His deep understanding of market dynamics and transaction execution makes him a trusted advisor to clients across all asset classes served by the firm.

Chad Buelow is a Managing Director at JP Investment, where he is responsible for arranging and structuring debt financing for commercial real estate investments throughout the country from commercial banks, credit unions, CMBS lenders, debt funds, and life insurance companies. Mr. Buelow’s experience includes permanent, bridge, and construction financing secured by virtually all property types, with a focus on retail shopping centers, multifamily properties, office buildings, and hotels.

In addition, Mr. Buelow has extensive experience representing financial institutions in connection with the disposition of performing and non-performing loans and REO properties. He also has experience representing investors in connection with the acquisition of distressed assets from financial institutions and the FDIC. This breadth of experience across both the lending and advisory sides of the market gives him a uniquely comprehensive perspective on financing strategy for JP Investment’s clients.

Jason Blau is an Associate at JP Investment Capital Markets, where he is responsible for underwriting, financial analysis, market research, and due diligence review in connection with all commercial real estate financing transactions handled by the team. Mr. Blau supports the origination and execution of debt placements across a range of property types, working closely with borrowers, lenders, and the broader JP Investment advisory team to ensure each financing is structured to best meet the client’s objectives.

Seth Bell is the President of JP Investment Asset Management, where he oversees the management and operation of over 200 properties encompassing more than 3 million square feet and over 750 tenants. Mr. Bell provides owners of net leased retail properties with strategic planning, operations management, development consulting, detailed financial reporting, and leasing supervision.

In this role, Mr. Bell is responsible for the establishment and implementation of strategies to optimize the overall performance of commercial real estate investments, with a focus on improving the underlying asset’s value and maximizing returns for property owners. His leadership drives a culture of operational precision, client transparency, and long-term performance across JP Investment’s growing managed portfolio.

Ani Basmajian is a Senior Asset Manager at JP Investment Asset Management. Ms. Basmajian is responsible for coordinating and guiding the collective operational efforts of the asset managers overseeing 300+ properties in the portfolio. In this role, she ensures the properties are operated and maintained in a first-class manner, with a strong emphasis on tenant satisfaction, operational efficiency, and maximizing asset performance for property owners.

Her hands-on approach and deep understanding of commercial real estate operations make her a critical leader within the asset management platform, supporting clients with reliable reporting, proactive tenant management, and disciplined financial oversight across a diverse and growing portfolio of properties.

Michael Mansour is a Senior Asset Manager at JP Investment Asset Management, where he oversees and coordinates the operational efforts of a team managing a portfolio of more than 300 properties. In this role, Michael ensures that each asset is operated and maintained to the highest standards, with a focus on efficiency, collaboration, and long-term value creation.

Mr. Mansour works closely with property owners, tenants, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and proactive resolution of property-level challenges. His commitment to operational excellence and detail-oriented management style are central to the asset management team’s ability to consistently deliver best-in-class service to JP Investment’s clients.

Cyrus Kashfian is a Director of Portfolio Management at JP Investment Asset Management, where he supports the oversight and performance of the firm’s real estate portfolio through disciplined analysis, risk management, and strategic execution. In this role, he works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure assets are managed efficiently and positioned for long-term value creation.

Mr. Kashfian brings a structured, analytics-driven approach to portfolio management, combining financial rigor with a deep understanding of commercial real estate operations. His work across the portfolio ensures that property-level decisions align with client investment objectives and the firm’s broader commitment to transparency and performance.

Jason Lawit leads JP Investment’s Strategic Wealth Initiative, focused on building partnerships with wealth management firms, fiduciaries, banks, trust companies, attorneys, and family offices. Jason brings deep experience at the intersection of wealth management, investment advice, fiduciary responsibility, and client experience.

His work is focused on helping advisors identify when real estate requires specialized attention — and giving them a trusted partner who can evaluate, advise, execute, manage, and report with institutional discipline. By bridging the world of traditional wealth management with the complexities of commercial real estate, Jason enables advisors to serve their clients with greater confidence and precision.

Michael Palffy is the Director of Operations at JP Investment Real Estate Group, where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s internal operations and ensuring smooth coordination across the investment sales, capital markets, and asset management teams. Mr. Palffy brings extensive experience in commercial real estate operations, process optimization, and organizational management to his role.
